Case study

Australian supplements brand: organic traffic up about 41%.

An Australian medicinal-mushroom and supplements brand on Shopify. Gemma handled on-page SEO and content in early 2024.

Engagement: early 2024 (Shopify on-page SEO and content)

An Australian medicinal-mushroom and supplements brand on Shopify needed clearer on-page SEO and content aimed at what Australians actually search for. Gemma fixed the technical basics, tightened product copy around high-intent keywords, and published one focused blog post.

What Gemma did - Fixed duplicate and missing H1 tags, meta titles and meta descriptions. - Added descriptive alt text across site images. - Tightened keyword consistency on the homepage and key product pages (including the higher-volume spelling of the main product keyword). - Optimised product descriptions for the brand's lion's mane range, with clear benefits language and alt text. - Wrote and published one SEO blog post targeting a high-intent Australian search (medicinal mushrooms). - Checked canonical tags and overall on-page SEO health. - Confirmed Google Analytics and Search Console were in place so results could be tracked.

The results - Monthly organic search traffic rose from 1,618 to 2,284 sessions (about 41%). (Client reporting shared during the engagement.) - The site ranked for 21 keywords in Google's top 3. (Client reporting shared during the engagement.) - On-page SEO health moved to A+ after H1, meta, alt text, canonical and keyword-consistency issues were cleared. (Client's SEO health tool during the engagement.)

Figures come from reports shared during the engagement, not from Elodae's own analytics access today. Gemma did the SEO and content work herself.
