Terms of service
1. Services
Elodae provides Shopify conversion rate optimisation (CRO), SEO, email and retention, store optimisation and product copy on a monthly retainer (Polish, Grow or Scale), with deliverables as listed in your plan. We don't manage paid ads.
2. Term
Bundle retainers (Polish, Grow and Scale) start with a 3-month term, then continue month to month. After the first 3 months, either of us can end a bundle retainer with 30 days' written notice. Single-service retainers are month to month with no minimum term, and either of us can end one at any time with 30 days' written notice. Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
2a. Setup fees and upgrade credit
Bundle retainers (Polish, Grow and Scale) have no setup fee. Single services may carry a one-off setup fee, shown on our pricing page and in your proposal. If you start on a single service and upgrade to a bundle within 90 days of your single-service start date, one month's single-service retainer is credited against your first bundle month. The credit applies once, can't be exchanged for cash, and setup fees already paid are not refunded.
3. Async delivery
We work asynchronously, with no calls. Onboarding is a written form; updates come by email; reports are written, with an optional video walkthrough. You can reply whenever suits you.
4. Store access
You grant us access to your store and tools (for example Shopify, GA4, Search Console and your email platform) in writing, as collaborator or staff access. You can revoke it at any time. The work we produce for you stays yours.
5. Our delivery promise (all plans)
Our delivery promise. Your audit lands within 5 business days. Every month you get the deliverables listed in your plan, on the date we agreed. If we miss a promised deliverable or deadline, that month's next deliverables are on us. We'll keep working at no fee until we've caught up, plus an extra week free.
The clock pauses while we're waiting on store access or approvals from you. The remedy is free work, never cash.
6. 90-day growth promise (Grow and Scale only)
- After your audit, we agree one or two growth targets with you in writing, based on your own data and set from a dated baseline. Targets are never Google rankings.
- If we haven't hit them by the end of your first 3 months, we keep working for free, with no monthly fee, for up to 2 more months or until we hit them, whichever comes first.
- It applies only if you approve and publish our work within 5 business days, keep your theme stable and stay paid up.
- The promise is void if: we don't receive store access within 5 business days; work isn't approved within 10 business days; our work is changed against our advice; payment is late; or there are major store changes, such as replatforming.
- Free work is capped at 2 months.
7. No guaranteed rankings, traffic or revenue
No one can guarantee Google rankings, traffic or revenue, and we don't. Results depend on many things outside our control. We report revenue, conversion rate and organic sessions so you can see progress. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
