Privacy policy
Elodae ("we", "us") respects your privacy and voluntarily follows the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) when handling personal information.
What we collect
When you request a free store audit, we collect:
- your name and work email address;
- your store URL and brand niche;
- optionally, your monthly revenue band, the email platform you use and your biggest concern about your store;
- basic campaign details from the link you used to reach us (UTM source, medium and campaign), if present.
We don't ask for sensitive information. Please don't include it in the form.
Why we collect it
We use this information to prepare and send your free audit, to reply to you, and to follow up by email about our services, as you agree to when you submit the form. If we later work together, we also hold the store and platform access you grant us in writing, only to deliver the agreed work.
How it's sent and stored
Form submissions are processed by our website host (Vercel), delivered by our form email service (Resend, once set up) and stored in our Microsoft 365 email. These providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We keep audit requests for 12 months, then delete them. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it.
Disclosure
We don't sell your information. We only share it with the service providers above to run the website and email, or where the law requires.
Marketing emails
You can opt out of follow-up emails at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or using the link in any email.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used (for example, pages visited and how visitors arrived). It uses cookies and collects usage data such as your approximate location, device and browser. We don't use advertising or ad-tracking cookies. You can opt out by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, or by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
We also remember your chosen price currency (AUD or US$) in your browser's local storage. It isn't sent to us.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing hello@elodae.com. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
