Case study
Fashion boutique: organic traffic nearly doubled.
An established Australian fashion boutique, rebuilt and relaunched with SEO-led content from August 2023 to April 2024.
Engagement: August 2023 to April 2024 (site rebuild and SEO blog content)
An established Australian fashion boutique came to us after a dip in its Google visibility. Over nine months we rebuilt the site and started publishing content written for search.
What we did - Rebuilt and rewrote the whole Shopify site: page structure, collection and product copy, and on-page SEO. - Started an SEO-led blog that targets what the brand's customers search for. - Tidied up the technical basics so Google could crawl and index the new site cleanly, including product listings that are eligible for Google Shopping.
The results - Estimated monthly organic traffic rose 97%, from about 5,300 to about 10,400 visits, from the September 2023 low to April 2024. (Third-party estimate, DataForSEO, Google Australia, Sep 2023 vs Apr 2024.) - Compared with the month before we started, estimated organic traffic was up 63%. (Third-party estimate, DataForSEO, Jul 2023 vs Apr 2024.) - Over the same September to April period, the number of keywords the site ranked for grew 45% (about 3,400 to about 4,900), and keywords in Google's top 10 grew 18%. (Third-party estimate, DataForSEO, Sep 2023 vs Apr 2024.)
Figures are third-party estimates, not the client's own analytics. Gemma was the brand's in-house SEO and website lead and did this work herself. Organic search can also be affected by seasonality and Google updates, and results depend on each business. We don't guarantee rankings or traffic.
